Warm and Herbaceous
The dry down of this new perfume is very lovely. When first applied it is herbaceous and peppery but when dried down it becomes warm.

A bit too masculine for me
I was interested in trying this fragrance for a new fall scent. I liked the initial notes of herb, fig, grasses but the finish was too masculine and powdery ( (I think it was the green mate tea notes i dont like). The dry down is not something i would want lingering all day long on me; reminded me of the old 1980's men's Lagerfeld cologne. Returning.

Unique Scent
I was drawn to this one because I wanted a fragrance that felt a bit different to the warm, heavy scents I already own. Virere is distinctly green and fresh, built around notes of petitgrain, juniper and cypress, and it sits in a space that is genuinely quite unusual compared to most fragrances at Space NK. On first spray it is quite striking and almost sharp, which I think puts some people off initially, but it settles into something far more wearable after about twenty minutes on the skin. It works particularly well in warmer weather and feels like a natural fit for spring and summer. The longevity is moderate rather than exceptional, which is fairly standard for an eau de toilette, but it does not disappear completely either. It is one of those fragrances that people tend to notice without being able to immediately identify what it is, which I consider a positive. For anyone who finds most fragrances too sweet or too heavy, this is worth spending five minutes with at the counter before deciding.

Loved the scent
I loved the scent so much I had to purchase it. It was lovely and smelled really expensive. Unfortunately, over time it gave me headaches so I had to stop putting it on every day. But for an evening or a date - it is a perfect fragrance! Can definitely recommend x

Gorgeous
Smells so fresh / clean and last long. Absolutely love it. Would definitely recommended it. Love the brand and had previously purchased their products. Always happy with my choice from Aesop. Buy it if you are thinking about it. Definitely worth the money.

fresh
I got a sample of this. It's so fresh! It's very woody and has a "masculine" opening, but as it settles it has a citrus peel scent. It's definitely a unisex perfume and I can see anyone wearing it. I was intimidating at first as it's very woody, almost to the point of giving me a headache, but I was relieved that it settled.
