What it is: A creamy shaping balm.
Who it's for: Anyone with unruly, coarse or dry hair.
What it does: It delivers volume and conditioning to soften and shape hard-to-manage hair, and is a welcome alternative to all-too-common greasy, sticky, silicone-based shaping products. Aesop product formulations use botanical and scientifically validated man-made ingredients of the highest quality.
How to use: Apply a small amount to the ends of clean, damp hair and mould to shape. Allow to dry naturally or finish with a hair diffuser. Alternatively, use on dry hair to shape the ends and smooth flyalways.

I really like this product. The fragrance is just barely woodsy, suitable for a man or a woman. At first I thought it was expensive, but the little jar has lasted me a year. I’m buying a new one now.
Great for fine hair in a dry climate.

Smell
The smell is quite unbearable, I’m an avid user of Aesop products and usually am pleased with the smell. However, this smells so bad, similar to another review here, it’s a strong smell of pickles.

Good idea, but overwhelming smell kills it
Bought this on a whim, since I’m getting into hair health and like a lot of Aesop products. Good idea on paper, but the smell is HORRIBLE. Can’t imagine wearing in my hair, even at night. I’ll stick to their hair oil treatments.
