What it is: A lightweight hydrating oil.
Who it's for: It's ideal for coarse, dry or frizzy hair types.
What it does: This aromatic and lightweight hydrating oil softens and adds luster to hair without leaving behind build-up or oily residue. It offers an effective alternative to silicone-based grooming products. Aesop product formulations use botanical and scientifically validated man-made ingredients of the highest quality.
How to use: To minimize static and smooth coarse, frizzy or flyaway hair, spread two to three drops evenly over your hands and gently distribute through mid-lengths to the ends of clean hair that's either damp or dry. Two full pipettes will deliver a nourishing overnight and pre-shampoo indulgence.

Used for years with great results!
I have used this product for several years, and it is absolutely fantastic! I am half-Asian, and I have hair that is a bit course, but also wavy, which can translate to frizzy. I have never had great results with silicone-based salon products. They make my hair feel either greasy or like there is a dirty layer of crud sitting on top of my hair. About two drops of this, and my frizz is gone, my hair looks French chic (tousled, not messy, frizzy and unkempt), shiny and feels truly moisturized, like the oil has really sunken into every strand and nourished it. I like the scent because I love the scent of natural things like herbs and woods, but I would love it if they came out with something floral or even a tad sweet/ambery. Anyway, this stuff is wonderful and very highly recommended.

Love the oil, but the scent? Not so much.
I was looking for a natural shine option for my hair. The good: the mix of oils does a fine job of keeping my gray flyaways under control and smooth. The not so great: The scent was described as green/citrus/floral on the packaging, so was expecting something lighter and gender neutral. Turns out it has a very strong scent reminiscent of patchouli, so sadly not a good fit for me personally. However, if you are looking for a strong, woodsy, masculine scented oil, this is your dream come true!

My boyfriend loves this!
I bought this for my boyfriend and we have bought it again and again. It’s his favourite he’s tried. He finds it helps to soften his beard and skin. Loves the scent too! He always suffers for ingrown hairs so this has been a game changer for him. Will absolutely continue to purchase

Not for me
I am a huge fan of Aesop’s products so was very exited to come across this new hair oil. It has the typical Aesop scent, light, fresh and calming. I apply this after washing the hair. The texture is light and easy to apply but I simply could not see any effect this hair oil brings. A bit disappointed.

Smells great
I'm not sure why this is not better reviewed here as the reviews and ratings are great on other websites. I bought this for my partner and he loves it. The smell is wonderful and the consistency doesn't feel too heavy either. He loves it and has used it for a couple weeks now
