expensive, but worth every penny. you really feel like you are getting genuine essential oils and not just chemicals. the result is a complex, lasting and sensual but not overpowering scent. although it smells like rose it isn't overly sweet (often a complaint of mine with perfumes). it feels perfectly balanced.

This was the most amazing discovery out of all the anthology set. I hav an aversion to Rose fragrance in its many forms. Over the years i have come across many designers who have dabbled with it and i can say less than one hand those which in my opinion have succeeded. This is another winner the rose mixed with the wood has developed into a lovely perfume where your nose doesnt immediately say Rose overkill. If this brand wasnt so expensive or if they made smaller versions this i would buy.

This is a stunning fragrance which I have sampled a few times and cannot wait to buy it. It’s expensive but so very different. The rose scent is noticeable but not sweet at all and there is a deeper undertone of spice and pepper. It’s perfect for summer or winter and is completely addictive. Like everything by this brand, the packaging is stylish and simple.

This is probably one of my favourite Aesop products. The scent is really unique. On my skin, it smells smoky but also has a hint of freshness which is hard to find in any other scents. I love wearing this in the spring and summer time. The only issue is that it does not last as long as I’d hoped, hence one star down.
