Primrose Facial Hydrating Cream

This is my most favourite product on the Aesop line. It's the first hydrating cream I have ever used that really works and leaves my skin dewy all day long. At night - Aesop doesn't believe in day creams and night creams, use one! - this keeps my skin hydrated all night as well. But the best part is the lavender scent. I feel instantly calmed. That is worth the full night's rest.

This product lasted me just about three months of daily use. At first I was using this morning and night, but I found that this really wasn't quite moisturizing enough for my dry/dehydrated skin so about halfway through I started using this just in the mornings. This worked really well under just about any makeup or SPF I used, which is great. I have pretty sensitive skin and nothing in this aggravated my skin which is a huge plus. My biggest gripe with this product is that it seemed to be marketed towards dry skin, but didn't seem to make a difference. I'd say this product is probably more appropriate for combo to dry skin. Lastly, I do think this is a bit pricey for what it is, which is just a decent moisturizer.

A friend recommended this brand to me. I have very sensitive skin (could be the rosacea that needs to be lasered), but I've tried so many products and always had an issue. Even the very most expensive products I develop a reaction to. This is just amazing. It feels so different, in a better way, than any other cream has. I'm thrilled.
