What it does: A careful blend of botanical ingredients effectively cleanses without disturbing the skin's natural tonal balance. Aesop product formulations use botanical and scientifically validated man-made ingredients of the highest quality.
How to use: Pour half a teaspoon into clean hands. Massage over your face and neck, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with your preferred Aesop toner and hydrator.

Very Gentle BUT EFFECTIVE!
Another great Aesop product ! Very gentle but very effective in your daily routine use day and night you will see results in a few days with this and most Aesop products this all wonderful and I wish Nordstrom would
Bring back the Whole line and sell this in all there stores it's a fantastic all natural product with allot of studying that goes in to it Aesop does not have products that come out all the time it's few and far between it because they want to make sure they work
Effective enough before they put them out . Enjoy

Contains methylisothiazolinone
Very disappointed that a product which claims to be good for people with sensitive skin contains MI, a preservative that affects many people. It’s banned in leave on products. I’m disappointed in Aesop as this is a very cheap preservative . Writing this review to help others with sensitive skin. Aesop, do better please.

Worth the splurge
Not sure how I ended up deciding it was worth spending so much on face wash, but I'm glad I did! It's extremely soft, and it seems to help make shaving a bit easier. I haven't used anything else from Aesop but it seems to be a quality company. The larger bottle has lasted me quite a while even while using it twice a day.

Gentle cleanser
I tried a sample of this, it's gentle and doesn't foam much and leaves my skin feeling clean without any tightness. I like the refreshing herbal scent that adds a spa-like feel to my evening routine. It's especially suitable for my sensitive skin, as it doesn't cause any irritation. However, I do wish the packaging came with a pump for easier dispensing. Overall, it's a great gentle, non-stripping cleanser

Gentle cleanser

Not gentle enough
Gentle (as in low foaming) and hydrating cleanser but quite a strong, natural scent from the essential oils. Not sure how suitable this really is for sensitive skin. It’s a bit too much for my facial skin, causes some slight irritation so I can’t use it daily. The parsley seed facial oil is still my favourite Aesop cleanser.
