Top notes blunted, rest is pleasant
The top notes of the original Mediterranean Honeysuckle— grapefruit and bergamot— were exquisite, while the rest quickly faded for me. This new flanker adds a note, black currant bud, that throws the original top notes in a different direction that I barely recognize and don’t like as much, heavier and more red fruity. The middle notes of mimosa are pretty, pleasant and have more staying power than the original. I’ve read that a discontinued flanker, Mediterranean Honeysuckle in Bloom, kept the lovely top notes while boosting the rest. Wish they could bring that back, it would be the best of all worlds!

short lived
Was very interested in the notes but came out very underwhelming. This is the second Aerin spray I've tried and they lasted only about 2 hours on me. I give up on this perfume brand

Better than regular Mediterranean honeysuckle
I am glad I got this perfume, a flanker of the original. When I first bought the regular version in the summer, I did not like it much and was puzzled by all the raves. I was a bit more careful this time reviewing fragrance notes and reviews before purchasing. I would say this one is closer to honeysuckle than the original. There are no notes that throw me off as the regular one does. I am happy with purchase. Too bad it is a limited edition.

Nice
The MH mimosa version is pleasant and fresh. I actually find it pretty sharp, but in a good way. Not warm and sun-kissed, but that's just me. I love the regular and this flanker is different enough that you would be happy owning both. My spray cap keeps falling off when I pull the lid off, which is annoying and not very sanitary having to pick off the floor each time but c'est la vie.

Was hoping to like it
I love, love the Mediterranean Honeysuckle so when I saw this new fragrance I couldn't wait to try it. Last year EL came out with Med Honeysuckle In Bloom and it is heavenly. I was anxious to try this new Mimosa fragrance but when I first sprayed it, it was too sweet and had an off-odor to me so I returned it. I wish I had the nose that other reviewers have to identify the scents and layers of flowers but all I know is whether I like it or I don't. I am sorry I can't be more detailed. But I will definitely stick to my tried and true Mediterranean Honeysuckle. Of course I will keep my eye out for new fragrances as you never know when the one you love comes along.

Another winner from Aerin!
I really enjoy my collection of Aerin perfumes, and I ordered this as soon as I discovered it. Tbh, I didn't love it upon first spray. But after about 30 minutes, the dry down was quite pretty. It opened with a strong citrus blast, almost masculine. But soon the bergamot and rose notes became more prominent. The description is apt; it is a happy, feminine scent that reminds me of a field of flowers on a warm, sunny summer day. A few hours later at lunch with a couple of friends, I received compliments on this perfume. Like nearly all Aerin scents, it is sophisticated and unique. My favorites are Ikat Jasmine, Waterlily Sun, and now this. I hope it isn't too limited of an edition- I'd hate to see this discontinued.
