What it is: A glow-inducing bar soap handmade in Africa using natural, skin-healing ingredients.
What it does: Named after a Ghanaian Adinkra symbol that signifies purity, cleanliness, and good fortune, the Adwera Glow Bar alleviates dry skin, promotes even skin tone, and protects skin cells from damage. Turmeric is a skinfood that has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and antioxidant effects that provide glow and luster to your skin. Notes of Rosemary and Lavender provide an earthy scent.
How to use: Lather bar on face and/or body. For best results, leave on for a few minutes before rinsing. Suitable for daily use.

Clean skincare for face and body. Noticeable glow.
Worth the money. Handmade, natural products have a price tag bc of the care taken to produce the product. Feels good on skin plus love supporting BIPOC businesses. Developing a daily glow after a couple of weeks, already wearing less foundation. Hyperpigmentation has improved.

Nothing special
It's soap. Absolutely nothing special.... no magic powers, no amazing scent, nothing. I notice nothing different from using it. It is definitely not worth $16. I know Nordstrom allows me to return this, but since I've tried it, I wouldn't feel right returning it. One positive depending on how you look at it. Unlike most crafted soaps it is small enough to actually fit in your hand comfortably (size comparable to normal bar of soap). Which is great for using it. But not when you you've spent $16 on it.

The power of turmeric
I love how the soap harness is the power of turmeric but still keeping it luxurious. The latter is gray and I’m already seeing some of my dark spots start to lift naturally.

It's a no glow
Very unremarkable soaps. I also bought the Hibiscus scent too. I have found natural soaps in the health food and Whole Foods stores that have much better scent and performance for 1/4 the price. Unfortunately, it is not worth the money. Should keep working on trying to perfect this. The concept is good, but these soaps miss the mark for me.
