Metallic Floral Embroidered Cocktail Sheath Dress

I fluctuate between size 6 and 8 with shift dresses, as I usually need room for my hips, which are wider than my bust. The 8 in this dress was huge and the 6 (shown in pic) is a little loose. I would need alterations to take in the bust and shorten the length of the sheer shoulder. I will leave the rest loose so I can move. The fabric is stiff with no give so it’s tight when I walk upstairs, sit down or reach my arms forward. The fabric and stitching quality is low. The fabric was cut and stitched at the seams without lining up the flowers. I notice but others probably wouldn’t. The dress is lightweight with a thin lining and sheer overlay so it works for warmer weather events. I like the dress better with a black shoe than silver. I got this for a work award dinner and liked the style because it was corporate appropriate but still fun and interesting. It’s nice for its low price-point, but I would have paid more for higher quality fabric and construction. I am 5’5”, 134 lbs, 36x28x38.5” (34C).
