Beaded Illusion Bodice Mesh Gown

I ordered a few dresses to try for my son's wedding. I'm 5'7" 145# and do not fit size charts.....38 bust, 31 waist, 36 hips. The size 10 was perfect. Since I'm short-waisted, my middle is my thickest part......I appear wide from the front but very slim from the side. I know.....weird figure! I have a larger bust and slim hips with a straight figure. This dress really made me look frumpy. The beading is from the bust through the waist and seemed to enhance my thickest part. It just didn't do much for my figure and looked too matronly for my age (49). If anyone else has a similar figure the Adrianna Papell Back Cutout Lace Gown in Navy (#663177) and the Eliza J. Embellished Neck Jersey Column dress in Navy (#612356) were stunning on me! They both were very elegant and didn't show cleavage, which is what I wanted. Hope this helps!

This gown is absolutely beautiful and well made. It has been difficult searching for just the right gown in bridal shops, on line and in department stores. I wanted a unique gown to wear at my son's wedding. I knew this was "the dress" however it was on back order and I was afraid it would not arrive in time. Well it arrived earlier than expected and I'm so happy I waited. It is the perfect dress for me and my style. I want to add that not only is it exquisite and unique the bonus to all of this is it is extremely comfortable (a built in bra is definitely a plus) and will be a pleasure to wear while enjoying the wedding festivities in beauty and comfort.

This was my mother-of-the bride dress. After trying on 25 or 30 dresses, this one was my choice. It is sparkly and fun, but also light weight and completely comfortable. Best of all, it has sleeves of sheer material that covers up the fact that you haven't been lifting weights at the gym lately. At the same time, the underdress is strapless and sexy. Looked elegant going down the aisle, but no one wants to sweat while dancing. (You ladies know what I mean.) A note to Nordstrom's. The darker colors are NOT very successful in this dress. The seams in the sheer fabric show through. The sequin stitching is a little bit visible. I actually bought mine at Bloomingdale's because the color was better.

For me this is hard to rate because my bust size is 36 DD. The dress fit perfectly but for someone with a smaller chest it may run large. I wore this dress for my daughters wedding in April, I got many compliments and it was comfortable the entire 9 hrs. I was in it. The one and only drawback is the sequins kept coming off, I collected them in a ziplock bag and possibly I will get them sewn back on. I am 5ft. 4" and had to have the dress hemmed, about 3 inches. If you buy this dress you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I was very disappointed in this gown. The beading that is at the top of the dress is held by visible threading. It looked extremely messy and unacceptable! There were snags all over the dress; I can't imagine what it looks like midway through the evening. This almost $300 dress looked more like a $30 dress and quite frankly I wouldn't pay $30 for it. Very disappointing. The one star rating was only given because it is a required field; this dress does not deserve one star.

My daughter is getting married in Las Vegas Memorial Weekend of 2015 in Las Vegas at the Paris Hotel and I was looking for something that was elegant and had some sort of sleeve that would cover at least to my elbow. This is an absolutely beautiful dress and exactly what I was looking for and the dress was very true to size and is extremely flattering! My daughter was concerned about the dress having sleeves since it will be hot in May and worried something with too much sleeve would look matronly, but she LOVES the dress so we are BOTH Happy!
