x Liberty London Bike Shorts

I got these in both a small & a medium. I am normally a size small but wanted to get both as these are cotton & didn’t want to risk them being too tight and selling out. The print is beautiful, love the vibrant blues in this one! These are such thinnn cotton shorts and the waistband, hah there is a little 1/2” or less band that holds them up ( but a wider cotton only true waistband). I had to laugh out loud when I had them in hand. They are ONE THIN layer of stretchy cotton with this tiny waist support band, they made me think of baby pants/ shorts. The super stretchy, very thin ones you can buy. Great for babies not so much for me as a young woman! They ran a little big on me which surprised me but I would still stick with your regular size. They were loose at the waistband and at the bottom of the shorts on me & my stomach isn’t perfectly flat by any means, so that surprised me. They just felt so cheap, the print will stretches out depending how tight they are but they also feel as though once they stretch they stay that way. Yes, they have stretch but it won’t keep you as held in as an exercise fabric would. I wish they were made of that material b/c that would be so much better! They just look cheap and feel cheap. Sadly, I am returning both pairs as I expected better quality from this collab. Overall in whole this collection with Liberty was a disappointment. They could and should do better especially with the quality of materials.
