Terrex Free Parley Trail Hiking Boot (Men)

These boots are great. I bought them to hike the Grand Canyon. I didn't get much of a chance to break them in, but there are two great things about this shoe: ankle support and a hard sole. They do get hot though...My one complaint is that they don't have a ton of ventilation...overall, a great hiking boot.

The rubber on the right toe peeled off after less than 6 months of use, 1-3 times a week, while alternating these shoes with another pair of trail shoes. Normally my shoes last at least a year with heavy consistent use. The shoes also have held and retained an awful odor my other hiking and trails shoes have not, when used as often and in the same conditions. The fit and comfort are a positive, as well as the ankle support. If it weren't for the fact that I had to repair them with Shoe Goo, and they create a perfect environment for bacteria to breed, the shoes would be 5 stars
