Aint what she used to be

Wore Lavers for 20 years from 1994-2014 when they dropped off the face of the earth. After a decade I manage to snag these....and they either changed or simply aren't as good as I remember. These are very heavy, pinch in the arch and the heel collar pleather is plain uncomfortable when wearing no-show socks. I had hoped they would loosen up a bit and break in since March - no such luck. They don't get anywhere close to the wear of my Rogers or Pro Staff 87s

Great! Heavy.

Ran slightly small for me- consider going up 1/2 size. No durability issues, mine are holding up great. These are noticeably heavier than my older pair from 2021. Still fine for casual use but may feel clunky for activities. Overall a great shoe despite the weight.
