Adeline Two-Piece Dress

I really liked this set. The idea of the buttons and off set closure to draw interest was great. Unfortunately, the top seemed much smaller than the skirt. I had some pulling at the buttons across the chest area. Also, the fabric is light weight but not in a good way and is typical with body con styles, they’ve added a hip shape to the skirt. So if you are like me and have very little curve there, the fabric just bunches up and looks awful. I considered purchasing a size up due to the top but then the skirt would likely fall down. Ultimately, I’ll return it.

I was right on the cusp of a small and medium and decided to size up since this is form fitting. Very glad I did. It's really cute but despite my measurements matching small, I don't think a small would have worked at all. The skirt is a tad long but easy enough to hike it up a bit higher. I'm 5'5" and it's about 2 inches longer than I would like. It's really cute and versatile - I can mix and match the skirt and top so that is a bonus. The quality is a bit low as the material is thin but I should be able to get enough wears out of it to make it worth the cost. I wonder if it will last longer than one season but I am usually easy on my clothes.
