What it does: The high-quality salicylic acid of this formula is oil-soluble and works to penetrate deep into the skin's pores. Once there, it dissolves excess oil and dead skin cells, thereby preventing the development of acne and blemishes. The long-term result is neatly cleansed, calmed and softened skin.
How to use: Use morning and evening after removing your makeup with your cleanser.

Very good cleanser
A nice cleanser for spot prone skin. I am pregnant and stopped using retinols so wanted a cleaner with an acid so it was less intense but also helpful and decongesting my skin. This does that and is fragrance free. You don’t need a lot so it will last a long time.

Made me break out
I started using this product almost 2 months ago. At first I thought I was experiencing the initial “purging” as you can get with new products. However, at this point I’m starting to think that this product is actually making me break out. I got these painful spots all over my chin, which I normally don’t get. The cleanser is the only thing that I changed in my skincare routine.

Deep Clean
I really like Verso Acne Deep Cleanse as a daily cleanser, and have re-ordered it a few times. Although I don't suffer acne per se, I still find it a really satisfyingly deep clean that leaves my skin feeling ready for all the next stages of my skincare routine. It doesn't strip or leave my skin dry, and works up a nice lather. Highly recommend.

Effective but stripping
It is more effective than my precious cleanser at keeping breakouts at bay however it does feel quite like the drying teenager acne cleansers in Boots.
As it contains high levels of saclylic acid it is as to be expected drying on the skin, definitely need to follow up with lathering thick moisturiser.
Likely will repurchase!

Best for oily skin
I've been using Verso products for a few years now, really love this brand. But this cleanser was a disappointment for me. I found it too aggressive and stripping even for my acne prone skin, leaves my skin dry, screaming for hydration, definitely not an everyday cleanser for me.

My Go-to
It's rare for me to find a cleanser I love so much I will buy repeatedly- I believe I am on my third or fourth bottle now! As someone who has struggled with problematic skin for years it has always been a tough task finding something that works for my skin, but I find that this cleaner is gentle and doesn't irritate my skin whilst still giving it a deep cleanse. I find a little goes a long way too and a full sized bottle will last me months!

Amazing
I have oily-combination skin that gets dry and oily quite easily, and the cleanser is good at not completely stripping my skin. I sometimes leave it on for a minute or two after I put it on and massage it around, just to let the salicylic acid do some extra work before washing it off. I use it with other products that all improved my skin, so I can't say how effective this cleanser in particular is, but I've not had a breakout since I started my current routing which has included this cleanser for 4 months now.
