WAY too heavy
I bought this blanket to replace the Reserve Cotton Blanket i had that got ruined. Apparently they do not make the Reserve blanket any longer. This blanket is WAY too heavy and warm. It is very thick and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, i opened and washed it and used it so can't return it.

Quality Basic Blanket
The Essential Bed Blanket is a nice medium weight blanket. I suggest washing it before using to remove the mild manufacturing odor. It does shed much in the wash, but the dryer removes most of it.

Perfect!
The Essential Bed Blanket has so many excellent reviews already; it doesn’t really need more praise. Everything about it is wonderful. Its dense weave makes it toasty warm for cool nights, but it is lightweight enough for summer. Two stellar features not found in other blankets - it stays in place, and it is extra WIDE!

Cozy base layer, but has some fuzz after one wash
Love it — my new essential. I hate top sheets, so this is the perfect base layer. It’s incredibly soft and makes my bed feel so cozy.
It’s definitely thicker and heavier than a traditional top sheet, which adds to the comfort. My only note is that it’s already starting to develop a bit of fuzz after one wash.

I also love this blanket.
I also love this blanket. The beige is like the perfect beige not too grey not too brown. Only downfall is I wish it had pillow shams, especially ones with zippers. So soft and washed as well.
