elegant sandal
I tried these on in store in my usual 8.5, and they were huge. After sizing down an entire size (7.5), the fit was fabulous. My foot width is normal, but more towards wide than narrow, and my foot looked fine in these. They have an elevated appearance, for sure.

Cute and durable shoes
I have never felt compelled to review a pair of shoes until I bought these sandals. They are cute, available in a size 5 (which still runs slightly big on me, sadly), well-priced, and virtually indestructible. I bought them ahead of a beach vacation for “nicer” dinners, but also ended up wearing them on a pretty arduous 1 mile hike and they look GOOD AS NEW. Like literally—zero damage. They have been described by friends as “chic”; to me they are slightly reminiscent of the Tory Burch sandals that size 5 wearers cannot fit into. Regardless, I love them and feel confident they will last for years. Adding Cole Haan to my list of small-size friendly shoes makers!

Beautiful but Big
Im a true size 6 in Cole Haan, but these were surprisingly too big in the strap where my foot would come out of the shoe while walking. You also couldn’t tighten the strap. They are very cute but had to return.
