THE Happy Dress
I tried on 22 gowns for a wedding in October, 2026 being held in Northern CA-Red Wood forest(picture Twilight). I’m 61 & haven’t shopped nor needed a gown for anything in a most long time. The gowns run very small so sizing up from a q10 to 14 took all my joy for this outing….UNTIL the mother of the bride came back with this dress. I was skeptical not dressy enough, but obliged her-WOW! I am so glad I did. Perfect fit in M(my true size), unique, versatile, funky, quirky & elegant. My mood was so changed by this lovely dress. It is lined & in pics you can see the sheerness of only the bottom layer. My midsection is hidden and I feel svelte/confident. I love the high /low bc I won’t step on my dress & it’s not uber hi like a couple years ago-FRESH TAKE. I had 2 shoe options. One Black Jeffery Campbell 4” stilettos adding a rhinestone encrusted square shoe clip to bring out the dots that glimmer. Second choice is silver(not the flats bc to low)but a silver sandal, although I think I will find an elegant black minimalist sandal. Accessories of unexpected fun will definitely elevate the happy and fun feel it brings. I love it and highly recommend.
