Surprised by the results
I've been seeing so much about how you don't really need a separate eye cream, that I tried it for a few months. I started applying my La Mer creme lightly under my eyes instead, but it was too heavy for daytime. Then I broke down and tried a few drugstore brands that I've heard glowing reviews of. After 5 or 6 months, I really noticed a dramatic increase in fine lines and expression creases. I also noticed the area never looked very bright, even though I don't have really terrible under eye circles or bags yet. I just looked tired all the time.
So on a self-indulgent whim, I went back to this cream. Holy cow. (I used to think the results were in my head, which is why I was trying to "no eye cream" experiment.) But within two days I noticed not only visible plumping of the fine lines, but the whole area looks so much brighter. I stopped using concealer and color corrector, and can just use a light pressing of brightening powder on the orbital bone and the outside corners of the eyes.
I use the tiniest amount of this cream, just tapping one ring finger on the top, then lightly tapping my ring fingers together, then under the eyes. So the jar should last for months, unlike the drugstore brands.
As much as I want to believe that I don't need expensive eye creams, my test has told me otherwise. I don't want to be without this again.

Poor packaging
This was not the package my cream came in!! It in a jar without a lid that had a top that was aluminum that was sealed like a safety top you would find on a bottle or aspirin when you opened the lid. Once it was opened it would not close back therefore drying out the contents. Pretty poor for a $300 cream.

Stop reposting Cle De Peau website reviews
Any Nordstrom reviews are drowned in “promotional” reviews from CDP website, which is frustrating and defeats the point of having actually customer reviews. *Anyway, I miss the old eye cream. This one feels so much drier and has slightly irritated my eyelids. I have to use much more product to feel a smooth, moisturizing finish than the old formula. I am disappointed that when a new product launches, they have to discontinue the old product. I would have bought both, new one for day and old one for night.

Expensive with minimal results
I’ve always had issues with bags under my eyes and wanted to try a different product to see if I could get better results. I approached a sales person to ask about a specific product line, but was swayed to give this particular line a try instead. I’ve been using this for several days with no results. I actually feel like the bags are more defined than they were prior to application. I know I should give the product a few weeks for optimal results, but I would expect better results after spending almost $300 for an ice cream.

Nice product
I am mid forties with a lot of lines and sun damage starting- currently use YSL touché eclat undereye concealer and this didn’t go well with that . Causes it to dry down and settle in fine lines- I think it’s a very good cream and use it at night now. I actually got a travel size in a promotion but a little goes a really long way. Went back to shisheido beneficence undereye cream bc it stays tacky under concealer and doesn’t allow it to settle into lines.

This is the best eye cream. Thanks to my sales rep-beauty adviser, Zina, who recommended the the new formula I have used the previous formula for years. This new formula is by far the best. Tightens around the eye the second you apply. Better than the Synactif. Well worth the price. 76 yrs old.

Holy Grail eye cream
The only eye cream that works for my sensitive mature eyes. Keeps the thin skin hydrated and protected, minimizing wrinkles. Doesn’t give me milia which is a problem when eye creams are too thick.
