Gemma High Waist Ankle Cigarette Ponte Pants

I own the Kelsey pant and thought the Gemma hopping for a higher waste and narrower fit below the knee. I wear a 4 I'm the Kelsey and a 4 in the Gemma. The waist is slightly higher but still hits below my belly button by 1". I wish the rise was 1" higher where my waist is smaller for belted looks with shirts tucked in. The style below the knee is still as roomy below the knee as the Kelsey. It has a trouser look as opposed to a narrower, cigarette taper. I wish it was more tapered. The red was sold out in regular so I tried the 4P. The 4P is tighter in the waist and thigh area compared to the 4R but that was the only difference. I would consider it size 3 (between the 2 and 4). It did not quite match my Liverpool red blaze because the fabric is slightly different and makes the shades of red slightly off. I might keep the 4R in black because they are comfortable, do not require ironing and match my black blazer. I'm 5'5 and the length comes right to the top of my foot. I do like the center seam on the Gemma but I will compare to the NYDJ pant that is similar before deciding.
