Garcia Full Zip Sweatshirt

This is a great zip jacket.. I appreciate the silver tone hardware (I am cool-toned, and only wear silver jewelry) and love the two-way zip. The fit is over-sized but not overwhelming... I usually wear XS but went down to XXS since I am so petite on top/short and the fit was better...My one complaint: the pockets! WHY oh WHY do they have an opening on top and the sides? I initially thought these were two different pockets layered over one another and I LOVED that idea... keep things more secure in the patch pocket entrance... nope...it's jsut the same pocket but two openings to reach it...WHY? that's irritating to me. Overall, I have been skeptical of Varley because their synthetic fabrics, but I am just about sold! They are incredible in fit and softness...the jury is still out on how well they will hold over years of wear, however.

I appreciate the soft material and the double zip. But, there are not 4 pockets, but 2 pockets that are connected. Makes no sense. Plus this is an extremely oversized and not really flattering, but if the pockets were functional I would have kept. For the price, it's not justified. I'm a slim 5'4 123 broad shoulders athletic build

I liked the Garcia and could have lived with the odd “2 entrance way” pockets that other reviewers have mentioned. Unfortunately the fit was off for me. Admittedly I don’t have long arms and in the XS (my normal Varley full zip sweat size) the sleeves were too long and an XXS would have been tight in the body. I was sorry to return it as Varley’s full zip sweats are great as a light jacket, especially when flying.
