These are such absolutely amazingly feeling and flattering jeans. They have some stretch, so I put slightly larger, only because they have give and a longer inseam with linages your legs if your more merited or taller ie will be a stylish crop of taller always with an attractive, ca he slight flare at bottom. They are incredibly comfortable to wear from the inside especially. Great with wedge or platform sandals, boots, fun canvas boat shoes, my black and white trendy flat sneakers, anything. They are high rise but again they have stretch, so they fit nicely up top if needed. They are great for weight fluctuations like I have with the comfortable give or if you bend down. They have two front pockets adding a modern cache to them. Once can style these jeans up or down like I do with a linen light blazer, a silk button down, or a flowery, blouse, or peplum, or flowy blouse for spring, summer, or a crisp tight short or long sleeve Tshirt. Excellent for chilly nights with a hoody at the beach also. I’m telling you these are the most Bertie jeans ever. They also are perfect with their same Flaherty brand button downs. I even wore it with a cream, fringe light jacket and wedge sandals. You will not regret these. I have about a 32-33 inseam, 5-7. So they are perfect for me. It you are more petite, size down for length or take them to Nordstrom tailors who will make these perfect if inseam is too long. Also if petite, where will elongate legs for a beautiful slimming look. I wash on warm and no issue with shrinkage. I have these in both colors-darker one for winter, fall with a tweed jacket and cashmere turtlenecks or a cropped black puffer jacket and one for spring, summer with my peplum, crisp white or cream button downs and Henley or tshirt.
