beautiful dress, great quality
I did need Nordstrom to made a slight adjustment to the back of the dress, but after the tailor made its adjustments the dress was perfect! And a fraction of the price I would have paid anywhere else! Buy it

wrong color
While the color I ordered was “aurora blue,” when I received the item, I assumed I’d received the wrong dress. There was only one color option when I ordered this dress, and the pictures ALL depict the dress in “deep teal” so I believed that was the way the color I ordered would look. I hope Nordstrom corrects the listing so others don’t make the same mistake. As for the dress itself, I previously ordered it elsewhere in black and I am OBSESSED! I tried on dozens of dresses for a black tie wedding and this was the clear winner. I am petite (5’2”) and this dress fit well with (high) heels without needing to hem it which was amazing! Just wish I’d received the color I believe I had ordered. Fit was true to size for me.

Not as Pictured
This dress is way darker in person and more a forest green. It also is shorter than pictured. I am 5’6” and it hit me mid shin in the front and several inches above the ankle in the back, making it an odd length. Flattering cut. I am 5’6” and 135 and it barely fit. Nice quality.

Very ill fitting
I tried this dress in both a small and medium, as I’m between sizes 4 and 6. The small fit well in the hips, even leaving room for movement, however the top was squeezing my chest and underarms tightly. Upon trying the medium, I found it to be huge. It was gaping in the top, and now was not flattering my figure in the bottom half. I am very much hourglass shaped with my waist being much smaller than my hips and chest. I would not recommend this for others. I’m not even sure if it would look flattering on a more slim straight body type because of the extreme difference in sizing. Wanted to love it, so elegant in theory.
