Not actually waterproof
I really like the way these shoes look and feel but I was very disappointed when I decided to try them out. I just went for a walk in the rain and my feet and socks ended up getting wet. I bought them mainly for the waterproof description but they don't even keep out the water. It wasn't even pouring rain so I really don't understand why water still seeped through.

Too pointy
The toe box is very narrow and pointy. My toes were immediately squeezed and uncomfortabe when I tried them on. I had hoped the toe shape would be more round like Timberland boots. Disappointing. Returning them.

Nice hiking shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give 5 stars if I had the chance to hike in them. Since I have not had the opportunity to hike with them yet, I gave 4 stars for comfort and stability. A nice cross between a tennis shoe and a hiking shoe. Can't wait to try them out!
