Geneva Waterproof Winter Boot (Women)

I really, REALLY wanted to like these boots, especially as someone who has to commute in brutal Midwestern winters. The cons? The toe box is a tad bit small unless you wear thinner socks - which isn't a total dealbreaker with how insulated these are from the elements. My personal dealbreaker was the way the ankle portion of the boots fits constricts to a borderline painful point. It feels like something is constantly rubbing against my ankles, to the point where I fear getting blisters there. Sorry, but these have to go back. Not in love with the lack of half sizes here, either. I'm honestly shocked that these boots have a 5-star rating.
