Naples Loafer Clog (Men)

Honestly, I do not write reviews, but this is now the 2nd time in a year, I have received a pair of used shoes, that I paid full price for, from Nordstrom. The customer service has certainly gone down hill. These look like they came from Nordstrom Rack, after being returned. The box looks like a truck ran over it, and the shoes came thrown in the box, with the price on the bottom partially torn off, and the sides of the shoes worn down. For a pair of shoes that cost 173.00 and are new on the website, I was really surprised. I place a lot of orders and shop frequently at Nordstrom, but really...it does seem like things are not what they used to be.

I wear woman's 41 E/EE (10.5 WIde/ExtraWide) and these loafers didn't fit at first but I knew the footbed width wasn't the issue. The leather is thick but soft and it only took 10 minutes with my clothes steamer and some DIY leather stretching spray to get the leather upper molded around my foot. The show is very light, incredibly comfortable, and the beautiful rich tamarind color elevates so many looks. Just a great shoe.

Was disappointed to receive Birkenstock “Naples” . First of all shoes came in not original box, just plane white box with handwritten by red marker name and size ( first sign that is something is not right). As soon as I open that plain white box I smell very STRONG SMELL of some kind of nasty chemical ! Yaaack ! Sure enough my new beautiful loafers had strong gross smell. I didn’t even want to put it on my feet. Then I realized that looks like they been lightly used , suede outside and inside ( foot bed), but sole on the bottom looks kinda new. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I really like this style on Birkenstocks “Naples” , it’s hard to get . It’s sold out EVERYWHERE. And now I had to return it . Week later I found online one pair in Dillards. Now I m waiting my shipment and crossing my fingers that this new pair will be normal pair of Berks.
