Fantastic product! Consistency is key.

I I have been dealing with thinning hair for a few years now. I'm 56 with long salt and pepper, 2b-4a curls, and very dry. I stopped coloring my hair and using heat on it over 5 years ago. I take supplements and am very picky about hair products. I looked into the benefits of red light therapy for hair and was pleased to learn it stimulates hair follicles, increases blood flow, and extends the growth phase. I was extremely excited to receive the HigherDOSE red light therapy hat to try and give my thoughts on. It's in the style of a very sturdy baseball cap. The hat is comfortable, quiet, wireless, and only takes 10 minutes a day. The battery will beep and stop on its own. The panels inside are removable, so you can clean the hat easily. Although I have not noticed hair growth I definitely have noticed that my hair sheds a lot less. The directions state to use 10 minutes a day for 14 weeks. I am 4 weeks in and look forward to continued use and results.

not enough diodes to work.

You will never see new growth, unless it is a medical grade cap, which only a doctor can prescribe. As a general rule of thumb, anything of 270 diodes or more is what you want. 20 minutes a day. You should also take photos in the same light once per month. It is sometimes hard to remember what you start with.

You will never see new growth, unless it is a medical grade cap, which only a doctor can prescribe. As a general rule of thumb, anything of 270 diodes or more is what you want. 20 minutes a day. You should also take photos in the same light once per month. It is sometimes hard to remember what you start with.

My hair is so thin, now.

I have been using the red-light therapy hat for almost 3 months, my hair is so thin. I am an African American woman with 4B hair. It did nothing for my hair or scalp but made my hair worse. This is not for me.

No new growth

My husband has pretty significant hair loss on the top of his head and we bought this hoping it would help with at least some new growth. He used it very consistently for 5 full months and we saw absolutely no improvement, no new growth whatsoever. This might help for minor hair loss issues but otherwise I would not recommend it.

need more time

I had high hopes with this since I have been struggling with hair loss, but unfortunately, I did not see much results although I may need more time with it

Very comfortable, long battery life!

I am extremely impressed with this red light hat. My husband and I are on a hair growth journey and we both fell in love with this device very quickly. For starters, I love that it looks like a regular ball cap. The red lights are not visible when it is worn, so if you need to wear this hat in public you absolutely can. The red lights appear evenly dispersed throughout the hat and they do not become too warm. I was worried that my head would feel too hot, but I notice it’s mildly warmer. The thing I am most impressed by is the battery life. My husband and I have used this hat daily for at least 20-30 days WITHOUT needing to charge it. The battery is removable so you do not have to plug the entire hat in to charge. The quality of the device is excellent. In terms of efficacy, I have not noticed any changes in my hair but they do recommend 14 weeks of continuous use!
