Bow Detail Sleeveless Satin Twill Trumpet Gown

This dress is so beautiful in person. I am between an 8 and 10 for sizing so I ordered the 10 and it fits perfectly with only a couple of alterations needed. The dress is also lightweight and perfect for a late summer wedding.

The fabric has a nice texture to it. It still looks/feels synthetic, but it is among the nicer synthetics of the many gowns I have been trying on for mother-of-the-bride. Ultimately, the bow just was not me, and it looked complicated to remove it. For reference, I wear a size 8 in almost all "street" clothes, and ordered a 10 in this dress. I would probably need to bring in the hip and the bust a bit for it to fit exactly right (I'm expecting to need to tailor any gown). I am a more athletic/straight up and down build. There are built in, foam lined cups in the bodice, which I do not think it mentions in the description.

Great dress but weird sizing.

Never received the dress because Nordstrom lost the dress. Very disappointing because dress was intended for daughters wedding.

This dress is everything. The trumpet style hugged my body just right. The V neck showed my assets perfectly. The bow was so elegant and allowed me to be very minimalistic with the accessories. The back is sexy and I loved everything about this dress. I’m 5’ 5” and 160 pounds. I have already washed it, too. It’s machine washable. A hand held steamer worked great on the wrinkles! I am wearing a size 12.
