Ona Ave Waterproof Low Top Sneaker (Women)

I love the sneaker in and of itself...I have great taste...That's not the issue... The issue is that Rosemary R. over at Nordstrom WestFarms (600 WestFarms Mall) Farmington CT 06032-2635, felt that it was okay to pass me the try on shoe...the display shoe...Not a brand new pair...I do not have time to return it and wait for a new pair...so I am going to have to wash both pair of shoelaces and then get the side dent out of the right sneaker. There was no inside stuffing to hold the shoe shape, so there is a big dent in the side of the sneaker...I am going to have to use something to stuff it and get the dent out before I wear them. Next time when you are sending things to the Flagship store, make sure you put your best foot forward because now I am going to tell corporate and make sure I get some sort of compensation for this mishap in judgment. Rosemary R. thought I would accept this poor pick quietly and skip away...I shall not...Overall though...the shoe fit a bit big, but it's good...means I have room for my feet to breathe...and I can wear thicker socks if I wanted to. Also great style....nice and light and cute on my feet!

I bought these shoes for Europe because the weather is unpredictable and could rain. Wow, after 30 mins, I felt like my feet needed to be amputated because they hurt so bad. I’m usually a size 6.5 so I bought a 7 just in case because there were reviews of how it’s not true to size. My god, the worst decision I’ve made and I travel to Europe every year so I have some really great walking shoes but they are not waterproof so I bought these. It’s an absolute no, don’t do it. I want to return this if they’ll let me. My god. I usually don’t post reviews but here I am taking time out of my day to share this experience. What a waste!

I was so excited to find this shoe to wear on vacation in Europe. It was going to be a lot of walking and possible rain so this was going to allow me to have one shoe that would look cute with outfits be comfortable and waterproof. I wore them around the house for a week to break them in and they were very comfortable. Unfortunately, two days into the trip a hole formed in the shoe where the stitching gave away at the corner of the shoe where the leather meets the suede upper. So disappointed! I had to continue to wear them the rest of the trip since they were the only shoe I brought, but unfortunately, my feet did get wet and I had to continue with a hole in my shoe!

I normally wear a 7 in all my other sorel shoes and these fit the same. It’s possible i could have sized down to a 6.5 actually. When i initially started walking around in these, i felt my heels slipping up ever so slightly. By the time i went to Nordstrom app to check for sizes, they were completely sold out, so i told myself the 7s were fine! I spent the day running errands in them for several hours with lots of walking and they were super comfortable. Planning on wearing these to my kids’ soccer games so i can still look cute when there is precipitation! Silver is cute and a fun neutral. SOREL is the bestttttt.
