Uptown Mary Jane (Women)

I’ve owned so many pairs of Vionic shoes, but these are so extra special. The fit was perfect for my size; I got black because I wear so much of it. My feet need support (and lots of it) but I also want shoes with style. These fit the bill. They’re so versatile—dress them up or dress them down. They’re great for casual & dressy; they work with jeans and pants, and skirts/dresses too!

I wanted to love these shoes, never had this brand before was looking for something other than the usual Clarks ,UGGs, etc., for shoe sizes 12 and up. These shoes came in a beat up box. Nordstrom shipped them in a plastic bag nothing to cushion the box. What if I was gifting these? Just a thought to use better packaging Nordstrom especially for shoes costing over $100 dollars. The shoes were tight especially around the end step of the big toe. I wear a 12 medium and the leather looks suspect just saying it could be 100% leather, but looks and feels like it doesn’t or wouldn’t give much which makes me wonder if it’s mixed with some other materials. I bought this pair in another Vionic pair(ballerina style flats) The arch Support also feels off, not in the middle of the arch, more towards the heel. I will have to return both pairs, unfortunately.

I would love to own this shoe in every color. The length and width are perfect (6.5 M) and the Mary Jane strap keeps the shoe snug on my foot, which is often a problem for me with flats. I love the slight elevation provided by the sole. It’s comfortable and fun to wear. Good color choices. The polluted silver is a nice substitute for black.
