Great boot but does not run small
Let me start by saying these are great boots for the price. Very comfortable, and the “leather” look means they don’t appear as feminine as the other classic boots. This may matter if you’re shopping for your tough-guy husband or trad dad.
I’ve been a long time customer of UGG and have a pair of Setons that are nearly 8 years old and still in great shape. I don’t expect these classic boots to last *that* long due to the softness of the sole, but I’m still pleased. Stitching is solid and first impressions are good.
I initially ordered a 13 because I read all the reviews stating they ran small and were hard to get on, but I’m a heavy set, large-calved and wide footed guy who had no issues getting these boots on. As a matter of fact, I had to exchange the 13 for a smaller size because they were too large. I’d say these run big, and to order down.
This is a good thing, as someone who has a wide foot and calf I will continue to stay loyal to UGG

1st pair of Men UGG boots
I've bought several men UGG slides and sandals, but I've never really liked the UGG boot (just looked to feminine for me) So, when I saw these on sale in the brown color and they were shorter and in leather; I figured that I would give them a try. Once I took them out of the box, I noticed that the leather on top of the right boot had crinkles in it. I thought that maybe my eyes were misleading me at first...nope, I could actually feel the crinkle in the leather when I touched it with my hand. Secondly, I noticed that you could visibly see the glue on the same boot, near the stitching. I'm not a clothes/shoe inspector; but I do know when an item has either been returned or is just simply defective. So, I had no choice but to return them.

Outstanding in Ironwood
These are like the guy version of my platform minis. Great looking boot for gray winter days. My husband is normally a men's 9.5 and the size 10 fit him great. I always try to size down in women's Uggs because the shearling eventually packs down leaving plenty of room,,,,but my husband couldn't get the smaller size of this boot on his feet. Even the larger size is a tight squeeze getting the heel into the opening of the boot.
