Great Johnson & Murphy boot.
Having loved my Madden NYC Churkka boots, i searched for a replacement after their discontinuation. The Steve Madden brand ones didn't have any tread on them. This seems to be a reoccurring theme among dress boots. It's the reason I won't wear chelsea's or cowboy boots. You'll fall on your rear in the snow, or on wet crosswalk paint. These shoes have plenty of tread, and are pretty true to size. They do wear in & become more comfortable over time. I wish I was able to get a half size smaller (I prefer my boots tight). The zipper is very strong and i don't have any fear of it failing. However, I don't really like how the rear of the heal lands when I walk. The tread is formed in away that you kind of ROCK when you walk. Also they are not very flexible. So, if you intend to use them for work as I do, and you have to crouch down to inspect things, it's not very comfortable. All in all for the $100 that I got them on sale for, I can't complain. They will likely last 2yrs like the rest of my Johnson & Murphy Shoes.

Hot Shoe, Fit is Amazing, Tons of Compliments
I got these for my fiancé as a new slightly dressy work shoe (he’s in sales). He wears them ALL the time and gets SO many compliments. They are holding up really well (6 months in) and still look great even though he is hard on shoes typically. If you want a really nice looking shoe/boot that he will wear and love, get these! Zero complaints. 5 stars for sure!
