Parliament Penny Loafer (Men)

I grabbed the Ted Baker gray suede loafers (size 11) from Nordstrom Rack, and I’m really happy with them. They fit true to size, and the last in which it was built on has this cool mix of European shape with a bit of New England loafer DNA. Definitely not in the vain of a ToBoot or a Mezlan loafer whose designs tend to be a bit more EU inspired. They’re not quite as plush underfoot as my Allen Edmonds pairs most likely due to the lack of cork in the midsole, but for the price, they’re a fantastic value and comfortable out of the box. The suede feels great in hand, and the construction seems solid. My only question mark is how the sole will hold up over the next few years. All in all, a very easygoing summer loafer that works with pretty much any warm weather outfit.
