Dr. Martens

An iconic shoe that started in 1901 as a tough workwear boot went on to become a symbol of self-expression and rebellious attitude when musicians and underground youths began wearing Dr. Martens in the 1960s. Today, the enduring brand continues to cut across class and culture, appealing to a wide range of individuals who have in common a sense of their own unique style.

another winner

I ordered both mauve and black to decide what I wanted to keep. I almost kept both but…. Since I wear all black everyday I always accessorize with shoes and handbags but for some reason the mauve shoe against my all black attire just seemed OFF and annoying. Almost cartoonish. But I will say that color and suede were absolutely PERFECTION. Still, I decided to go with all black to play it safe. A decision I will regret for all eternity. I also have the other suede doc marten mule that isn’t platform. I’d say it fits similar to that with obviously more height. Very comfortable and stylish. I only wish this style came in leather.

Strap Broke

Love the look of these shoes but the strap broke off after I wore them for a month. Very unhappy with the item quality.

Make an account with them unless you want to cry

First of all, love the shoes I really do. They deserve the full 5 stars. However, Nordstrom has this stupid policy where it will not let you edit any part of your order after it's placed, unless you signed up with them. I get it, whatever, but at the end of the day when I couldn't easily update my shipping address 3 seconds after purchase and I realized it was the wrong one, it left a horrible taste in my mouth. Had to drive 2 hours to my old place to get the package.

Just ok

Cute on and definitely a staple piece but they’re super heavy and the sling doesn’t stay in a comfortable position. I’d imagine the muscles in my feet will be stronger after wearing them.

Not a review on the shoes but nordstrom

Received these today and they appear to be used. There are small stains on the upper suede and they are creased as if worn several times. The upper leather looks rough. I have a pair of carlson’s and the leather looks similar to my very worn in pair. Besides this blunder these shoes run small, if you’re a 1/2 size I would recommend sizing up. Normally I am a 7 in boots and sandals, but the mule slides I always size up.

sizing /:

Sizing unfortunately for these are off in my opinion. I ordered a 7 & an 8, normally I’m a 7-7.5. The 7’s were small where my heel hung off a tiny bit and the 8’s were way too high and wide to even walk in! Sadly returning, I was really excited for these!
