The top has no lining and the plunge is deep so it looks awkward with a bra. I’m a L in madewell tops and size up for a flowy look but the top runs small. I’m a 38D and barely had room in the XL.

accentuates my short torso!
I have a short torso and longer legs, so it helps that this shirt is not super cropped but just the right length (hits me at the hips). Also, it doesn't really help my short torso when my measurements for underbust, waist, and hips are almost the same (32", 28", 33") and so I've been looking for tops that cinch in at or slightly above the waist and flare out to give the illusion of a longer torso - this top does just that. The material and design is light and airy, and fits me exactly as expected! There is no lining so if you're not comfortable with it being see-through, you could wear a white bralette or silicone nipple covers. It matches everything and is perfect for my summer fits.
