Size truly does matter
Omg! The online pic and video tutorial of these pants is way off! I received these pants a few days ago with anticipation only to be disappointed. The material is a mixture of cotton and tweed.

Gorgeous Pants But……
I value detailed reviews for online clothing purchases, so I hope to pass on the favor. The pants are gorgeous. Lovely weight. The wide pant cut and drape is rich and elegant. I’m pairing them with the matching FD Jones vest. The fabric is slightly see through, so no lacey thongs, and probably not an option for anyone super modest. The size chart was off even for my not so 20 year old, menopausal waist. Knowing the waists run small on similar wide leg Favorite Daughter pants, I ordered the size chart recommended size 12. Mind you, I’m a solid 28 in jeans (waist 30.75, hips 38.5”) and I’ve NEVER worn a size 12. I was swimming in the waist and the hips. I made a special trip to the store and ultimately landed on a size 8. It is slightly snug in the waist, but still comfortable, see my pic with tape measure. The hips in the size 8 were a perfect fit. Be warned that the length is a full 34” inseam, so mine will need to be hemmed (5’7” & 165lbs). One disappointing item is that the pants had an area on the hips that looked like a stain, but appears to be an abrasion of the fabric. I apologize that my picture doesn’t do it justice. My husband and daughter noticed it immediately. At this price, I will be exchanging them for a defect free pair.

Need in every color

Awesome and practical pants.
Awesome pants, however, the bell bottom is too excessive. Ordered size petite XL, but they were still too long. I can also sense that with time they will stretch. Will order one size down next time.

Perfect wide-leg trouser
These pants are so flattering and polished. I’m 5’7” and wearing a size 8, and the fit is great. The high waist sits beautifully and the wide leg gives them a really chic, elongated look without feeling oversized. The fabric has enough structure to hold its shape but still feels comfortable. I wore them with a fitted sleeveless top and heels and loved the whole look. Easy to dress up for work or dinner.
