Miranda Mary Jane Flat (Women)

Ballet flats are like jeans for me…always searching for the “right pair” and making a lot of regretful purchases along that journey. These are IT! The all mesh styles I’m not comfortable with, because I don’t want to disrupt everyone with a visual of my toes, but I love the look of it from afar. These accomplish that style but with the capped toe, keep “the dogs” hidden. I got the black pair because it’s hard to find black Summer shoes that aren’t too hot, and I love that they will also work in the Winter and Fall with sheer nylons or socks. I have walked around with the kids all weekend in these and had no foot discomfort. They don’t pinch at all. I have a high arch and the sole is flat, but I didn’t expect these to be as soft and curved as an athletic sneaker. Overall, I am super happy with them. They’re so chic and easy to throw on with baggy jeans or with jean shorts, adding a “chic-ness” to a casual outfit. My only thumbs down, is the Sam Edelman plastic logo on the back of the shoes. It’s small where it’s not too noticeable but I find it tacky. I wish SE wouldn’t do this with all their shoes. I don’t care to be a billboard for this brand.
