I bought the black size 9.5 Wide. I do have a wide four, but I wear a size 9. The width is perfect for me. Like others stated, comfortable right out of the box. The shaft is just right height without being uncomfortable. I probably could have sized down to a size 9. I do like having extra room in the 9.5 for double wool socks. We’re going to Wisconsin for a Packers game in January. Expecting cold weather and possibly snow. I wanted waterproof shoes with good traction and comfort. These shoes fit the bill.
