super cute !
Love the color and sparkle. It’s not too aggressive of a sparkle either. It will add some height to you but the shoe it super lightweight. I bought really thin socks just to go with this. It is kind of hard to get your barefoot in the shoe, so do wear socks. I normally wear 8.5 so I got a 9 and it fit perfectly. I did go directly to the Melissa site to make sure I got the sizing correct.

Stinky and matte
Like the other reviewer, I got these shoes online and upon unboxing it the stench was the first thing I noticed--so much so that I got a headache after 2 minutes. Second thing I noticed was that the shoes were matte! The photo shown online is glossy and shiny so seeing it was matte and not to mention the quality looked bad AND for it to stink... yeah, these are not it unfortunately. By the way I couldn't even attempt to put them on so I'm not sure how it fits. Anyways, you've been warned.

Wrong Odor
I was so excited about these shoes waited patiently until my size came in unfortunately the odor of these shoes was so strong that I could not keep them. I don’t know if it’s because of the material but the smell was unbearable. I am returning them.

Off-gassing
Received the shoes on time, fit was good, shoes reasonably comfortable, style was fine. Other reviewers mentioned a strong odor upon opening the box, while other reviews said “Oh that’s just Melissa shoes”, as if the odor is no big deal. The odor is off-gassing from the shoe material and it’s very strong. I even aired them out a few days and could still smell the off-gassing when they were on my feet and I was standing up (nose far away from shoe). What got me to return the shoe was when i realized that the material provides no breath ability and the off-gassing would soon be joined by sweaty foot smell.

Cute, comfy, but not shiny
I have several pairs of Melissa shoes. The “stench” is a pleasant fruity smell that if you’ve ever bought or been near a pair of Melissas you already know well. For the fit - I think I’d do better if I could buy a half size. 9 is my normal size, 10s are too big. Going to order my normal size and see how I feel about them. Comfy overall, like other Melissa shoes.

So cute but they do NOT run big
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item description says they run slightly large and that was not my experience at all. I’m a 9.5 and normally I would get a 10 but that was sold out. So I ordered a 9 based on the description. Nope. They do not run big. Unfortunately I had to return. So sad because they are gorgeous out of the box.
