How to use: Massage a small amount onto clean lips then rinse with a damp washcloth. The lip scrub can be used 2 to 3 times a week.

Really like this gentle scrub
Since I have very dry skin I'm not used to scrubs in general and was hesitant that this would be too harsh on my dry, easily cracked lips but after a bout of endlessly flakey dead skin cells on said lips I bit the bullet, so to speak. Word of warning in general: dermatologists definitely don't like Lip scrubs, especially brown sugar based ones. I do feel this has more to do with overuse and/or too harsh scrubbing so you're almost scratching the sensitive gums and creating tiny scars that create more scar tissue etc. I'd use with extra care and only when truly needed - otherwise lots of Vaseline should do the trick. So I really only wanted 1) a very soft one for occasions when really needed, to prepare for lipstick when the cells are too stubborn and it's this or plucking them out with my nails (big no no!), and 2) it really needs to be nourishing and not harsh at all, to avoid tiny scars that create dependence - a difficult task with my dry skin type, but Fresh's Sugar Lip Polish looked really promising. And what a great find it was! It does help get rid of those pesky flakes (using a special extra soft children's toothbrush on top of this - very gently of course) does the trick and my lips loved the hydrating ingredients: from the all-around super hydrator Glycerin to Shea Butter extract, Grape oil seed extract, Jojoba oil, Hydrogenated Castor oil and Meadowfoam seed extract. It's like a balm/bath for rough lips. I'd say let it soak in for a couple of minutes, if not more if you're like me and really love how this softens and nourishes the lips with just a tiny coat before going at it and it does its double duty. I don't know if it's strong enough if you've already used stronger scrubs or were a bit too harsh with your scrubbing tools with other lipcare products (scar tissue is a whole other kettle) but for me, this was the best I think I could find. As for the price: a little is more than enough per use so you definitely get a lot. I really recommend this, used following the instructions and never scrubbing too hard. Love this!

Not really worth it
This hasn't lived up to the reviews I've read. It smells nice but doesn't really do much that Vaseline can't do. It has a decent scrub texture but I didn't find it very hydrating or that smoothing. There are better and less expensive ways to achieve the same results.

Been on the wishlist for ages
This has been on my wishlist for ages. I've previously used one by lush and elf but it's always a step I forget to do. I think this is on the more expensive side for a similar product. I love the scent of this and do notice a difference when I use it.
