The Best yet.
I’ve been on a hunt for a non-slip casual shoe. It’s always wet and rainy here. When I saw these had the Vibram sole decided to give her a try. Had already tried The Speedgoat and love the tread on that shoe but that slurpy cushion just makes things more difficult for me. I have multiple pairs of the Bondi that I can’t wear. They make my entire body hurt. Anyway the Vibram sole made the sale. The Opal color is a grey with a lavender cast. Pretty. A nice sleek look. The shoe is on the stiff side, which I like. The sole isn’t like walking in mud. I would call it supportive. Which I am happy with. All in all this is the best of all my Hoka purchases; even the Gaviota. Very pleased.

Smells after 1 use
Wore them 1 time for a short while and they had a HORRIBLE odor. My shoes have never smelled, so this was bizarre

The Best yet.

Just buy them.
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have hallux rigidus in both big toe joints. No problem walking 5-10 miles with zero pain wearing these shoes! I normally wear an 8.5 medium shoe, in Hoka's, I wear an 8.

VERY hard sole
These are winter running sneakers. I returned them because the sole was incredibly hard. I'm not sure who could run in a sneaker with such an inflexible sole. At this price, I was not going to try to break them and have them possibly still be uncomfortable. I purchased a Hoka Trail Run boot that was much more comfortable.
