When I first put these in, I admitted one of the shoes squeaked and I was concerned about whether I could keep them. But because they are 100% leather, I took them off, and put them on again an hour later and the squeak was gone. They are very comfortable, like the other reviewers wrote, they mold to your foot. Good job Veronica Beard. Purchased in gold.

SENT ME TWO DIFFERENT SHOES
FINALLY received the penny loafers today and there were 2 different shoes in the box. Of course now my size is sold out. That said, the one I ordered was comfy. Will go to Saks or vendor from now on.

Inconsistent sizing
I usually take a size 9 in Veronica beard. In this shoe I had to go to a 10. When I ordered the same shoe in another color, even the size 10 was too small. So the manufacturing is inconsistent.

Beautiful and Comfortable
I love that it is all leather. Sick of rubber and lug soles. It is so comfy and pretty. I gave a four star because I thought the color could have been a richer brown, but I still love it!!

Not the quality I expected
I have several pairs of VB shoes and am happy with them. I thought the Caramel/Lily were interesting but when I got them, it was apparent that the quality was very sub-par. The stitching was uneven, the Lily part on the top of the left shoe was buckled, and the left shoe was altogether wider than the right. Back they go. I bought the gold loafers so hopefully these will be better.
