The Little Things Square Toe Ballet Flat (Women)

Lovely quality shoe, made of soft leather. The light brown is neutral and just what I was hoping for. I was initially concerned that the shoe would look clunky because of the toe shape and gathering but it’s rather like a pointe shoe. Delightful! Note that it runs about 1 size too big. I’ve normally ordered size 8 in Seychelles and other brands. That size was gigantic and the 7 was a much better fit. The 7 was snug but after wearing with thick socks for a couple hours, it’s now the perfect size for feet with tights or thin liners.

These flats are very flattering and appear to be well made. Unfortunately I took other reviewers advice and sized down from my usual 9.5 to a 9 and they are too small. Stick to your actual size. I am a true 9.5 and now have to go through a return reorder process. The color is exactly as shown, they fit TTS as advertised, they are flattering and I really like the gathered updated ballerina styling. There is plenty of cushiony support that many flats don’t offer, too. They are a tad stiff feeling, not really flexible or as soft as I expected; hence 4 stars.

I wish I would have heeded the other review that mentions these run large. I ordered my normal size (in Seychelles and other shoe brands) and they were ridiculously large. Likely a whole size too large. The leather is lovely and the shoe is delightful but completely unwearable in that size. I’ve ordered the next size down and am hoping they fit properly. I’d hate to have to return a second pair.
