Rised Strappy Slide Sandal (Women)

Comfortable cushioned contoured footbed and sole is comfortable, leather is soft and high quality, straps are tight enough to hold the shoe on my foot (which is rare for sandals). Fits true to size. Color (tan) blends with skin well. Flattering on (doesn’t show too much toe). Loved everything except one major flaw which prevents me from wearing the shoes: the inside of the leather upper has an elastic band inside the foot near the ankle that is sharp, rough, and cuts into the skin everytime you move your foot, so it’s impossible to walk in the shoes without creating painful wound on ankle. I’m tired of paying $100+ for shoes that are unwearable due to overlooked obvious problems like this. I badly want a nicer sandal to wear, and I really like this one otherwise, but I’m still wearing $20 flip flops because of things like this. I loved these until I tried to walk in them. Manufacturers please do better.
