I was skeptical, but hopeful, as I can never find less expensive shoes that run narrow, and it is so frustrating to have to purchase high end shoes to fit. This is made for a VERY wide foot, I could have put another 1/2 of my foot in there to fill the large gaps on the sides. I walked right out of them, having no back. Very disappointing. I purchased several Linea styles on the sale, in both 61/2 and 7, as sometimes sizing down will help the width issue. It didn't in this case and I am hoping perhaps it is just the style running so wide. If you have a wide foot, this may be a good choice as the style is good; the negative is that the interior is synthetic, which is often found in less expensive shoes as a way to keep cost down, but a bummer as your foot doesn't stay dry, and if you are into taking care of your shoes and collecting them to put in and out of rotation for many years, as the styles come and go, I have found that the synthetic interiors disintegrate and eventually just start peeling off.
