Horrible Quality
I'm surprised by the poor quality of this loafer. It is as if the soles are made of cardboard. They disintegrated after minimal use. The thread at the top of shoe which attaches to the sole is all gone. I would estimate I walked about two miles before the shoes were destroyed. They looked really nice out of the box, but probably best suited for those who only drive or are not able to walk.

Excellent quality tight fit
These black loafers have beautiful leather and nice quality construction. The fit is according to size, but quite tight for my feet because I have a high instep. This is unusual for this type of loafer. I am hoping that they will stretch a bit with use of shoe trees and wear. Despite the tight fit I am pleased with the loafers.

Allen Edmunds they are not
Uncomfortable and not very good leather. I have worn them about two months and are still don't feel good, I thought by breaking them in they would become soft and pliable, but they are not.
Very Stiff and the cushioned insoles are soft but not leather and they stick to bare feet.
I wish I could return but i have had them too long
