What it is: A fragrance inspired by a Grecian love story.

Fragrance story: This floral eau de parfum is composed of musks alongside elegantly powdery iris and fruity, ambery ambrette seeds. In ancient Greece, one myth stood out as the most passionate and sensual—the love between Psyche and Eros—the beauty's quest to meet with her lover and the happy outcome of their union which led to the birth of their daughter, Hedone. Only once scent can convey this legend as a fragrance, that of musks. Equally legendary, they have the unique ability to enhance the skin with their arousing carnal accents. They are at the very heart of Fleur de Peau, as cottony and light as they are soft and moist. Highlighted with elegantly powdery iris and fruity, ambery ambrette seeds from hibiscus flowers, they reveal their full tactile dimension. Its notes are extraordinarily rich: sweet, slightly animal and fruity, like pear and plum. The iconic oval label on the bottle is deeply rooted in Diptyque's story. The thread of inspiration runs from ancient Rome to the fabric designs created during the early days of the Diptyque adventure.

I love this scent!

I love this scent! It is not strong, overwhelming or artificial. It is feminine, soft and evocative. Love it.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM NORDSTROM!!!!!

I can’t even leave a proper review because I never received my merchandise. The courier that Nordstrom uses left my parcel outside and marked it as delivered and I never received it. Nordstrom saw the photo of my package sitting outside in the open where anyone could get to it and told me that was a proper delivery and refuse to reimburse me or replace my perfume. That’s $259.20 down the drain! If you want to purchase anything, go to a different department store like Saks, Neiman Marcus, or Bloomingdale’s. Customer service here is a TERRIBLE!!!!

Most Unique Iris Scent

I must say I did NOT expect to change my mind on this fragrance. When I first tried it I absolutely hated it and was surprised it was a best seller. I obtained a sample and tried it a few more times after that and after trying multiple times I started to like it more and more. The fragrance really develops on the skin and changes with body heat. I would really recommend everyone try it on skin and not on test strips or clothes as it does not do the fragrance justice. 10/10 clean, fresh, crisp scent. If L'eau papier is a beautiful fall/winter skin scent, fleur de peau is a perfect spring/summer skin scent

baby powder

i reallyyyyy wanted to like this fragrance, i had relatively high hopes for this but once i sprayed it on it was like a literal explosion of baby powder blasted me in the face. it was very overbearing and after a while started burning my nose. now that’s a testament to the sillage of the perfume, but unfortunately it’s not the scent that i was hoping for. it was an immediate return unfortunately:( but if anything this gave my hope for the other fragrances in this line!

one of my favorite head turners

Love everything about this fragrance. The notes to start to finish are well balanced. I usually wear this in the summer for the vibes. You will not be disappointed.
