These beautiful, high-quality shoes spice up basic outfits. Others find them comfortable "out of the box." I needed break-in time. The soles are stiff at first and only gradually begin to flex a little. 39 is my usual size for most European shoes (equal to 8 1/2 or 9). In this case 39 left room for thick socks. That helped prevent heel blisters because (due to the stiff soles) my heels did slip at every step at first. Sizing down might have prevented slippage, but smaller sizes crowded my toes, so 39 was best; super comfy in the long run. I love the look: Jordan from The Great Gatsby visits the Hamptons. Perfect when paired with that favorite American designer's Spring 2025 Hampton's runway show of white, tan, and beige quite luxury classics paired with lighting blues. Once broken in these oxfords are the perfect all-day walking shoe, great with flowing linen pants. Durability and low "Cost Per Wearing" will justify the price.

My second pair of TOAS shoes, pricey but so unique. They make every outfit look more interesting and stylish. These oxfords work great with jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts, trousers. Amazing for attending industry conferences where I’m in my feet and waking, but expected to be polished and professional.
