Penny Loafer (Women)

Comfortable loafer, can dress up or down, does run slightly big. I wear a women’s 10 US, and in pointy heels a 42 EU, but in this shoe the 41.5 fit best but now that I have broken them in I could have gone with a 41. I’m highly pleased with the shoe though and regret not getting last falls loafer before my size sold out.

I ordered these online from Nordstrom because they were out of stock at the CL store. I was hesitant but hoped for the best. Well, it was the worst from start to finish. They arrived in a damage boxed. They looked as though they were worn. The one sticker on the sole was missing. They were packaged in the box poorly. Tissue in one shoe and not in another. Torn up paper. It was obvious they were a return item and just thrown back into inventory. For the cost of these shoes there was no way I was keeping them. Used CLs? No thanks. The same day they were delivered I went to the store to return them because of the cost. The associate never asked "why" or if there was an issue with the shoe. He said nothing, barely inspected them, and gave me a refund/receipt. Customer service is not what it once was. Total disappointment in the whole process. I honestly question what has happened to a company I once loved.
