The mobile app and the website will not let me leave a one star rating. Nordstrom Refused to Help Even Admitted They Would Take It Back If It Were Not Designer I purchased these Golden Goose Ball Star sneakers from Nordstrom in April 2025. I’ve only worn them on weekends, rotating them with two other pairs of Golden Goose shoes I own, so they’ve seen very light use. Despite that, they already show significant damage — the material and stitching are separating, and the wear looks nothing like what you’d expect after just a few months. When I took them back to Nordstrom, I was told that because they’re a designer item, they couldn’t be returned or exchanged. What made this even more frustrating was being told that if they weren’t designer, Nordstrom would have accepted a return — even two or three years later. Hearing that honestly stunned me. I’ve always shopped at Nordstrom because of their reputation for standing behind what they sell and offering great customer service, but this experience completely changed my opinion. It’s unacceptable that a store known for quality and care refuses to take responsibility just because of a brand label. I’m not blaming Golden Goose — the issue is Nordstrom’s policy and unwillingness to help a loyal customer. I expected better. Very disappointing experience and not what I’d expect from Nordstrom.
